Huron Capital Sells Portfolio Company Quest Specialty Chemicals

DETROIT, March 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Huron Capital announced today that it has sold its interest in Quest Specialty Chemicals, Inc. ("Quest" or the "Company") in a transaction that produced 4.1 times its original investment. In order to give effect to the transaction, Quest was recapitalized by Audax Group, Moelis Capital Partners, and Quest management. Huron's investment in Quest was the 2nd largest equity investment made through The Huron Fund II, LP, a $185,000,000 fund which had its final close in May 2005. UBS Investment Bank advised Quest on the transaction and Honigman, Miller, Schwartz and Cohn served as counsel to Quest.

QCP acquires IPC's coatings business

Phoenix, AZ – July 6, 2011 – Quest Construction Products, A division of Quest Specialty Chemicals announced that it has acquired the coatings business of Integrated Paving Concepts (IPC) of Vancouver, Canada. Since its founding in 1992, Integrated Paving Concepts has specialized in decorative Stamped Asphalt & Asphalt Coating Technology, facilitating innovative streetscape and hardscape designs.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is the largest and most recognized organization in the world that develops global standards for business. Auditors examined work processes, quality management and control systems, as well as environmental impact procedures.
